Saturday, Jaybird had his first soccer game. He had a lot of fun! He was excited because he got to pick out his number. He wanted number four (because he's four years old) and he got it! And, of course, we were all happy his team got to be the red team! Gerogia colors!! Here are some videos that will give you the basic idea of what the game was like. Jaybird was much more interested in running around with other kids his age than he was with trying to take the ball from the other team or even with scoring a goal!
This video lets you catch a glimpse of Jay checking out his "running posture". I don't know if he's trying to look like a super hero or what. Maybe he thinks he runs faster if he looks like he's running fast! :)
And here's where he almost scored a goal. I really thought he was going to do it, but that little blue kid just robbed him! :) Jaybird waits up for him at the end, though, and makes sure he at least out runs him! :)

It looks like he was having fun! It definitely looks like these kids have more of an idea of how to run and play than Matt's very timid team!
This is the fourth season that blue team has played together (fall, winter, spring, and now fall again). They seemed pretty used to playing together.
Gerogia colors, huh? I have not heard of that team...
